We are excited to announce we have a new location for the 2018-2019 school year! As many of you know, our lease was running out due to Nissan purchasing our building a year ago. We will be moving our Preschool and Tumblebuses to Newport Hills Community Church in South Bellevue (5833 119th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA 98006). We will be renting two classrooms, a large playground area with grass and best of all there will be lots of parking!
We feel very fortunate to have found a location where we can continue to operate our preschool and Tumblebus business all in one location. However, we had to make a sacrifice of reducing our preschool to only 2 classrooms. The new space is smaller so we will only be enrolling students for the Yellow and Red classrooms in the fall. Most importantly our preschool will continue to be independent and our curriculum and philosophies will remain the same.
Summer camp will be held at our current location while we make improvements to the new preschool space, set up a portable office building and Tumblebus parking space.
We hope to be able to have an open house by late June/early July to show off the new space. We will keep you all posted as the time comes closer.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us at 425-564-8287 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Dizzy’s Preschool Philosophy
At Dizzy’s Bus Stop Preschool, our basic goal is to foster an environment where kids can master self-reliance, and an “I can do it” attitude. Our focus on fundamental preschool skills, such as fine and gross motor development, social, and emotional growth, enable the child to gain a positive sense of self worth, as well as respect for others and their environment.
We believe that children learn by doing, which in return builds self esteem, confidence and an understanding of how things work. We strive to create an environment where children learn concepts through their most important job – PLAY!
Our preschool will guide each child in the growth and development of the whole child. Areas related to physical, emotional, and social development are all given equal attention when preparing a curriculum to fit the needs of each child. A child’s self-expression, problem-solving, reasoning, creativity, and analytic thinking are developed through meaningful play.
Our teachers strive to aid each child in developing a positive self-image.
Dizzy’s Preschool Curriculum
Dizzy’s Preschool supports a play-based learning environment that recognizes the value of child-initiated play to support cognitive development of science, math, language and literacy skills. Children’s play stimulates the physical social, emotional and creative development that is critical during a child’s early years. Through play, children actively pose problems, derive solutions, and develop understandings of real world concepts.
Dizzy’s Preschool has an emergent curriculum, ensuring a smooth progression from the Green to the Yellow to the Red classroom. Through the use of an age-appropriate and individualized curriculum, our preschool integrates play experiences with a comprehensive learning environment. Each class will explore math, science, language, music, art, movement and dramatic play through a hands-on, discovery-based daily curriculum in an exciting and nurturing environment. Our Red Class (4s-5s) will place a stronger emphasis on Kindergarten-Readiness Skills in math, reading, writing and problem solving. With an emphasis on social skills and instilling a love of learning, our curriculum builds upon itself with each class, ensuring students are fully prepared to integrate into Kindergarten.
