Travel Schedule
Week 1 – Camping in Canada (Jjune 18 - June 22)
The first leg of our race takes us to the wilderness of Canada. We will set up our tents as we are given our tasks to search for bugs, bears and even moose! But don’t get caught pouring too much of Canada’s best maple syrup on your campfire pancakes – the Mounties are watching!
Week 2 – Under the Sea in Australia (June 25 - June 9)
The second leg of our race takes us underwater into the land Down Under: Australia! We will dive into the Great Barrier Reef discovering coral reefs, fish, whales and sea turtles. As we swim under the sea, our task will be to collect as many bright fish as we can, but look out for the sharks… they are hungry!
Week 3 – Fiesta in Mexico (July 2, 3, 5, 6)
Uno, dos, tres! We are off to the third leg of our race as we travel south of the border to Mexico. Every fiesta needs great music – complete with maracas and sombreros – as our little jumping beans dance around. Our task will be to find the prize inside of the piñata.
Week 4 – Tropical Rainforest in the Amazon Jungle (July 9 - July 13)
Downpour! This leg of our race will be wettest of them all. Our task this week will be to swing like monkeys from vine-to-vine trying to avoid the snakes and crocodiles down below. If we succeed, Mr. Parrot will have a special prize waiting for us at the end.
Week 5 – Royalty of Great Britain (July 16 - July 20)
Calling all knights and princesses! The fifth leg of our race takes us to the royal kingdom of Great Britain. With our newly created shields and crowns, our task will be to find the queen’s crown jewels before it is too late!
Week 6 – Fossil Dig in the Sahara (July 23 - 27)
The six leg of our race takes us to the Sahara Desert in Africa to dig for dinosaur fossils. As we brave the heat and sand of the Sahara, our task will be to find the gigantic and fierce Tyrannosaurus Rex. As we search for T-Rex, we may encounter dino bones, dino eggs, and perhaps even dino teeth!
Week 7 –Beach Party in Thailand (July 30 - Aug 3)
Grab your towel and sunglasses; we will be on the beach in Thailand for our next leg of our race! We will build sand towers and splash in the water as we watch the beach balls being tossed up high in the sky. Our task this week? See how many coconuts we can roll across the beach!
Week 8 – Wild West in Texas(Aug 6 - Aug 10)
Yee-haw! The eighth leg of our race takes us to the Wild, Wild West of the American Prairie. Put on your cowboy and cowgirl hats, and strap on your boots, because there is a new sheriff in town! Our task will be to catch those wily outlaws while avoiding rattlesnakes and cacti.
Week 9 – Pirates & Mermaids of the Pacific Ocean (Aug 13- Aug 17)
Ahoy matey! This leg of our race takes us to the Pacific Ocean as we board a pirate ship and look for mermaids in the sea. We will put on an eye patch, hoist our pirate flag, and search for buried treasure. If you read the pirate’s map correctly – the treasure is yours to keep!
Week 10 – Back home to Dizzy's Big Top Circus (Aug 20 - Aug 24)
It’s time to return to Dizzy’s to create our own circus town. Our last leg of the race brings us back home to Dizzy’s Bus Stop for the Big Top Circus. Lions and tigers jumping through a ring of fire, silly clowns, and trapeze acrobats will be there to entertain us. Are you brave enough to feed the juggling bear for our last task? If so, you have completed Dizzy’s Amazing Race!
Week 11 – Mystery Week (Aug 27 - Aug 31)
We'll see you at the finish line!
