We’re traveling again this summer, we’re
going to explore. Some crazy and wild
places that are different from before.
But not by planes, trains or boats to visit
places far and near. We’re going to travel
in a different way so have no fear. The
Dizzybus has been transformed to a time
traveling bus. So hop on board, we’ve
dialed the times, so come travel with us.
We’ll travel to when the dinosaurs lived on
land, and to underwater sea adventures
swimming hand in hand. A jousting knight
or a pirate fight, to visiting China’s great
wall. With all we have in store, you’re sure
to have a ball.

Week 1 – “Mystery Travel Week ”
– (June 21 – 25)
Our first week is a mystery week of time
travel fun. A new and exciting adventure
awaits for everyone. But it’s hush, hush! Each day
will be a different surprise place. The only way to
know is to sign up and show your face.
Week 2 – The Great Wall & Beyond
– (June 28 – July 2)
The travel bus is set to visit
Asia with the first stop to
China’s Great Wall. We’ll be so
amazed that we’ll have to build our
own, making it long and tall. Eating
rice with chopsticks and making
sushi rolls too. Hope you can join us
for a week with so much to do.
Week 3 – Decades of Fun
– (July 6 – July 9)
*Note this camp is only 4 days
No computers, video games or cell
phones with the ability to text. It’s good
old fashion fun that’s in store for us next. Some
decades were memorable, some not so much to
speak of. But this is the week we go back in time to
sock hops and peace and love. To make the week
more fun, note the decades where we’ll be each
day, so you can dress the part to fit right in and
play. Tues. – 20’s, Wed & Thurs. – 50’s, Fri. – 60’s
Week 4 – Wild Wild West
– (July 12 – 16)
Set the dial back to enjoy some Wild West
fun. Cowboys and Indians, bows and
arrows and rip roaring fun. From making feather
head-dresses and teepees, to riding horses and
wearing a cowboy vest. This is one Wild West
adventure that needs all of you, in order to be the
best.
Week 5 – Dinosaur Dig
– (July 19 – 23)
Way back when the dinosaurs roamed so long ago
is where we travel next. To see the dinosaurs that
we all love and know. Look for T-Rex’s with their
sharp teeth and nails and Triceratops with 3 horns
and strong tails. We’ll dig for dino’s and have a
dinosaur stomping or two. These are just some of
the things that we will do.
Week 6 – Ice “Cold” Age: Then & Now
– (July 26 – 30)
It’s freezing outside so put on your
gloves, scarves and hats. It’s to the Ice
Age we go to see wooly mammoths
and saber tooth tiger cats. Then we’ll
travel a few thousand years closer to our
modern time we’ll be. To visit the animals
that still live in the ice cold we’ll see. Whales,
penguins, and polar bears too, it’s an adventure in
the snow with animals old and new.
Week 7 - Dizzy’s Big Top Circus
– (August 2 – 6)
Do you know when the first circus
came to town? This week we’ll
find out as we act like a clown.
Men with muscles so strong.
Trapeze acrobats swinging and hopefully nothing
goes wrong. Lions and tigers jumping through fire.
We need you to show up because we have some
circus friends to hire.
Week 8 – AARRGH Matey!
– (August 9 – 13)
A one-legged pirate with
a patch over one of his
eyes. On a pirate ship,
land ahoy another one spies. Buried treasure we’ll
go and search for and explore. So as we go back
in time to meet famous pirates that lived long ago.
We’ll join the crew and act just like pirates do.
Week 9 – In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle
– (August 16 – 20)
It’s a jungle out there where animals roam and
rule their vast space. Gorillas, tigers and
elephants we’ll see in their natural
place. A visit to an African Safari
and village is just one stop along
the way. We’ll also head on over to
see the rainforest animals play. This
week’s all about animals galore.
Make sure you’re aboard the bus so
you can come and explore.
Week 10 – Underwater Sea Adventures
– (August 23 – 27)
We’re turning the travel bus into a submarine
ocean bound. Where fish, sharks and whales all
can be found. This week is all about the creatures
of the sea so deep. Who knows, maybe we’ll find a
mermaid on a rock sound asleep.

must return, for school will
soon start.

Please note that a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your camp dates. Your deposit is transferrable to other dates during the Summer 2010 camps if space is available.
