Bus Stop Parties
Frequently Asked Questions
How many children can be at a Bus Stop birthday party at one time?
We recommend no more than 15 kids due to the size of our facility. We want to be sure that all the kids enjoy themselves and it can sometimes get a little overwhelming with more than 15 kids.
Is my Bus Stop birthday party private or will there be other parties going on at the same time?
When you choose to have your party at Dizzy’s Bus Stop rest assured that yours will be the only party on site at the time. We find it a more pleasant environment for both children and parents to know that everyone there was invited by you. With full run of our facility you will never feel crowded or pressured to stay in one small area. You will have access to all the Bus Stop has to offer!
Are there organized activities at The Bus Stop or do the parents have to supervise?
If you choose a Green Light Party the parents are in charge of supervising the children. We have one Dizzybus Team Member that will help with setup and cleanup, but you are responsible for managing the children in the tumbling room.
If you choose a Yellow Light or Red Light Party then we have two Dizzybus Team Members that will lead the children in games and activities. They will help facilitate the flow of the party from making sure they have enough tumbling time, to serving the birthday cake, and cleaning up at the end. Our team runs a well organized party with games and tumbling activities to keep the kids moving and entertained.
Can older and/or younger siblings participate in the tumbling activities too?
Absolutely! If there are older siblings that would like to join in the fun, they are more than welcome to play. They just may be too big for some of our activities, so we ask them to respect our rules. Younger siblings are also welcome.
Am I allowed to bring in my own food or can you provide food for our party?
You are welcome to bring in your own food (Costco is a great resource for food for the parents and kids). Or if you’d prefer we can take care of the food for you. We order pizzas from Garlic Jim’s or Pizza Hut. Price will be determined on day of party. Please let our party coordinator know if you would like to add these items at least two days before the party.
Do I have to order party favors and extras at the time of reservation or can I add them later? Do I have to have an exact count?
You can add party bags, balloons, Dizzybus medals, and/or Dizzybus t-shirts to your party package at any time. We just request that you notify us at least 24 hours before the party so we have them ready when your party starts. Our balloons are $0.75 each, our goody bags are $3.50 each (or tied with a balloon are $4.00 each). You can also select real Dizzybus medals for $2.50 each, and/or Dizzybus t-shirts for $10 each. The birthday child’s t-shirt is included in the party package.
What time should we arrive to set up for our party?
If you have items you’d like to set up in the party room, feel free to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your party time. We ask that you don’t show up much earlier than that because we are typically cleaning up from the previous party and we want to make sure that everything is set up for you before you arrive.
What is your policy on gratuity for the instructors?
Our instructors work very hard to keep the children entertained so your child will have a party that they’ll never forget. If you would like to tip the instructors, it is greatly appreciated but not required in any way. They gratuity is split evenly between the instructors.
Is my deposit refundable if I have to cancel?
All deposits are non-refundable. If you need to change the date of your party, we are happy to apply the deposit to the new party date, less a $25 change of date fee.
